General Fusion announced today that it has entered into an industrial partnership with Hatch Ltd. (Hatch) to bring power plant engineering and other expertise to its Fusion Demonstration Plant project. Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) will be opening a new warehouse in Reno, NV in early 2020. The new facility will replace the existing warehouse in Compton, CA, with plant operations in Compton being unaffected.

 

 

 

Global automation solutions pioneer Omron Automation Americas recently launched its latest addition to the LD Series of autonomous mobile robots. Known as the LD-250, this new robot carries payloads of up to 250kg and has a sturdy structure that is optimized for items like transmission blocks, automotive seats and voluminous packaging materials that are bulky as well as heavy.

FANUC has introduced the new CRX-10iA and CRX-10iA/L (long arm version) collaborative robots that set new standards in terms of ease of use, reliability and safety. FANUC debuted the new collaborative robots at the 2019 INTERNATIONAL ROBOT EXHIBITION, Dec. 18-21 in Tokyo.   

 

 

 

Beckhoff Automation has introduced new TwinCAT Cloud Engineering software for IoT and Industrie 4.0 applications. With this feature-filled addition to the TwinCAT 3 platform, users can instantiate and use existing TwinCAT engineering and runtime products directly in the cloud. The solution is easy to access from the Beckhoff website with a web browser and requires no additional software.
