Building Canada: Hatch Prominently Featured in List of Canada’s Top 100 Infrastructure Projects

March 10, 2020

Hatch has once again achieved Platinum Elite status as part of ReNew Canada’s “Top 100 Infrastructure Projects Report” for 2020. The “Top 100 Infrastructure Projects Report” is produced by a team that researches several hundred projects at various stages to create their extensive list of public sector projects across the country.

Hatch has a major presence throughout the report, playing a significant role in thirty-seven of the top hundred projects listed. Notably, in this year’s report, the GO Expansion Projects – On-Corridor Works program has overtaken the top spot for the first time. Hatch played a key role in this project as part of the design team. Hatch also had a prominent role in last year’s top project, the Bruce Power Refurbishment, which has moved to the second spot. In fact, this year we’ve accomplished the noteworthy feat of appearing in nine of the top ten projects, and each of the top five projects. Such accomplishments emphasize our multifaceted and client-centric offering of planning, design, and project management expertise.

“I’m very proud of our teams and that we have once again secured Platinum Elite status,” added Michael Schatz, Hatch’s global managing director of Infrastructure. “Our impressive ranking in this report is confirmation of our strength and reputation in the infrastructure and energy sectors. As the infrastructure mega-project landscape continues to grow across Canada, we are pleased to work with our clients to deliver unprecedented outcomes.”
