By continuously monitoring the power output, it can provide extra power for different durations. For example, the power supply can deliver 130 % of its rated power for 22 s or up to 200 % for 5 s at temperatures up to +60 °C. At temperatures up to +45 °C, it can continuously provide 120 % of its rated power. The high efficiency from stand-by to full load reduces total cost of ownership and carbon dioxide emissions, with particularly low power losses during no-load conditions.
