Siemens SIRIUS ACT Delivers Push Buttons, Indicator Lights & Switches Engineered for Demanding Applications

In today’s fast‑paced industrial environments, operators need control devices that are not only tough and reliable, but also intuitive, stylish, and easy to integrate into modern automation systems. Siemens SIRIUS ACT delivers exactly that—a complete portfolio of push buttons, indicator lights, and switches engineered for demanding applications and designed to elevate the user experience.

Engineered for Ease, Built for Industry

Quick & Easy Installation

SIRIUS ACT push buttons and indicator lights are engineered for effortless installation. The innovative snap-on concept allows units to be mounted quickly and securely, even with one hand. This intuitive design not only saves installation time but also helps reduce the risk of incorrect assembly, supporting faster and more reliable commissioning.

Rugged, Reliable Operation

Built to perform in demanding environments, SIRIUS ACT devices deliver consistent reliability under harsh conditions. They continue operating when exposed to dust, high-pressure water, oils, caustic solutions, and extreme environmental influences, making them a dependable choice for a wide range of industrial applications.

Flexible Communication Options

Beyond conventional wiring, SIRIUS ACT supports direct connection to controllers via AS-Interface, IO-Link, or PROFINET. This flexibility reduces wiring effort, minimizes potential fault points, and allows for easier system modifications. Integration with the TIA Portal enables advanced diagnostics and parameterization for greater system transparency.

With flat, round metal and plastic elements, SIRIUS ACT combines functionality with a clean, timeless aesthetic. Three distinct design lines and a wide range of combination options ensure a solution suited to every application, preference, and budget.

New Product Redesign Shrinks CO₂ Footprint

Siemens has reimagined its command and signaling devices to make a real impact on the environment. By optimizing materials, packaging, and transportation, these redesigned products can reduce CO₂e emissions by up to 84 percent — adding up to an impressive 391 tons of CO₂e saved worldwide each year.

ATEX-Certified Products for Safety & Long-Term Protection

SIRIUS ACT pushbuttons and indicator lights can be used in intrinsically safe circuits that meet IEC 60079‑11:2011 requirements for simple apparatus. For illuminated versions, only ATEX‑certified intrinsically safe LED modules may be used.

Contact & LED Modules Built for Performance

SIRIUS ACT contact and LED modules are designed to elevate the reliability and clarity of every control station. The contact modules use slow action normally open and normally closed contacts that deliver precise, dependable switching even at very low loads such as 5 volts and 1 milliamp. The normally closed contacts include positively driven contact pieces, providing an added layer of safety in critical control environments.

For illumination, SIRIUS ACT uses LED modules with permanently integrated LEDs that offer bright, consistent signaling without the need for ongoing maintenance. Both the contact modules and LED modules follow EN 50013 terminal designations, ensuring straightforward wiring, consistent layout, and seamless integration into any control panel.

This combination of high-quality contacts and long-lasting LEDs results in a control system that is reliable, visually clear, and engineered for professional grade performance.
