Shane Smith Appointed as New Lower Mainland District Manager at EB Horsman

EB Horsman is pleased to announce the appointment of Shane Smith as Lower Mainland District Manager, effective April 1, 2026.

With nearly two decades of experience at EB Horsman & Son, Shane has built a strong foundation across multiple areas of the business. Since joining the company in 2007, he has progressed through a variety of roles, including Shipper and Receiver, Technical Inside Sales, and Lighting Products & Application Specialist, gaining valuable operational and technical expertise along the way.

Shane’s leadership journey continued as Branch Manager of Richmond, followed by his role as Area Manager overseeing both Surrey and Richmond. In these positions, he demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, drive operational excellence, and support profitable growth. His deep understanding of their business, combined with his commitment to customer service and team development, has made a lasting impact across the Lower Mainland.

In his new role as Lower Mainland District Manager, Shane will oversee the Surrey, Richmond, Langley, and Burnaby branches. He will focus on strengthening branch performance, supporting team development, and driving both short-term results and long-term growth across the region. His strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style position him well to continue building a strong and connected Lower Mainland network.

Shane’s appointment reflects his dedication, experience, and ongoing contributions to EB Horsman & Son. His leadership will play an important role in supporting their teams and delivering continued value to their customers across the region.

Convergix Automation Solutions has completed the acquisition of AGR Automation (“AGR”), a UK-based provider of custom, high-performance automation design and systems integration primarily to the life sciences industry.
