New PTS Series: Bridged PIN Strip PCB Connectors Offer a Suitable Solution for Power Distribution in Modern Building Installations

The PTS Series 1,5/ PH-CLIP-B pin strip PCB connectors from Phoenix Contact are specifically designed for conveniently looping through potentials in building applications. The internal bridging enables easy potential distribution in daisy-chain applications. The clip geometry simplifies the mounting of PCB connectors, as they latch into the lower housing part without the need for tools. Cost-optimized pin strips are used to make contact with the PCB.

The connectors are suitable for conductor cross-sections ranging from 0.2 to 2.5 mm² and can transmit currents of up to 10 A to the device and up to 16 A in a loop-through configuration. Featuring a 5.0 mm pitch and compact design, they offer plenty of clamping space in a small area. Color-coded actuating push buttons make operation easier and help ensure safe handling. Overall, the PTS Series is a suitable solution for power distribution in modern building installations.
