Frank Stührenberg to Hand Over the Role of Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Contact to Dirk Görlitzer

Frank Stührenberg, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Phoenix Contact, will retire at the end of December 2024 after 33 years with the company. He will be succeeded by Dirk Görlitzer, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer (COO) since 2020. To ensure a smooth transition, Frank Stührenberg and Dirk Görlitzer will share the role of Chief Executive Officer from July 1. Frank Stührenberg will remain associated with the Phoenix Contact Group in the future as chairman of the supervisory board of the newly founded company Phoenix Contact E-Mobility Holding SE.

Recently, Farren Sacrest, the VP of Sales and Customer Care in the Americas for Mersen Electrical Power, was pleased to announce that effective May 17th, 2024, Paulina Chmielowska had joined Mersen Electrical Power ad Canada Distribution Customer Care Supervisor. Based out of the Mississauga, Canada site she will report to Naomi Towns, Director of Customer Care North America. Paulina most recently worked in one of the e-commerce fulfillment operators in Europe as the Client Support Team Manager responsible for scaling up their customer care division.

SICK, Inc. and local officials recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the beginning of construction on a $64 million expansion at the SICK Office and Customer Resource Building in Bloomington, which is the North American headquarters for SICK. Additionally, and in collaboration with the City of Bloomington and the Port Authority, a seven-level parking ramp, with primary use by SICK employees, will be built as part of the project.
