The second stop of the Siemens ‘Automate the Future’ Tour was in Kitchener, Ontario recently. The members of the company were very excited to join their southeastern Ontario customers for a day of hands-on workshops, and info-sessions that showcased the latest in manufacturing and process technologies. Celebrating a milestone of success – On February 17, 2023 the US-American subsidiary SCHUNK Intec Inc. celebrated an important milestone. “Over the past 30 years, SCHUNK has become a real household name in the American market,” said a proud Henrik A. Schunk. Solutions from SCHUNK can now be found on American production floors in all industries, from the automotive industry to high-tech companies like Space-X. “Establishing such an esteemed brand is something we can be proud of,” Schunk emphasizes. He has a special relationship with the Morrisville site because he ran the Intec for several years.
