I recently met with a client from a large CPG company who said his challenges are rooted in the fact that every industrial automation system comprises two descriptions of the truth, a physical one and a logical one. And because of the development process, these two truths are rarely aligned.
The E2FM high durability stainless steel sensing face provides 20 times more protection against mechanical damage than conventional sensors. The family has high mineral oil and coolant resistance along with small metal chip immunity which makes this sensor ideal for metal working applications like cutting, drilling, or tapping. One-piece completely stainless-steel housing with a face thickness of 0.8 mm. The face thickness is approximately 4 times that of previous models (E2ES) to enable sensing in even more severe conditions than ever.

Advanced Motion Controls is proud to announce the addition of six new CANopen servo drives with Extended Environment capabilities to their FlexPro line. These new drives join AMC’s existing EtherCAT Extended Environment FlexPro drives, making the FlexPro line the go-to solution for motion control applications in harsh environments.
Many motion control applications take place in conditions that are less than ideal, such as extreme temperatures, high and low pressures, shocks and vibrations, and contamination. Electronics, including servo drives, can malfunction or sustain permanent damage in these conditions.
