Mazak Continues the All Axes LIVE Series With September Virtual Event

September 22, 2020

Exploring ways for shops of all sizes to amplify productivity, Mazak’s All Axes LIVE September event takes place on September 23 at 11:00 a.m. EDT. This episode will stream live from Mazak’s manufacturing plant in Florence, Kentucky, and the company’s new Orlando Technical Center, as well as from Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

In this edition of All Axes LIVE, Mazak will showcase the flexibility and full DONE IN ONE part processing capability of its QUICK TURN 250MSY Multi-Tasking Machine. The company will also demonstrate its industry proven HCN-5000 Horizontal Machining Center outfitted with the Multi-Pallet Pool (MPP) System – a compact automated part loader/unloader that makes it easy to integrate unmanned operations.

To help shops minimize unexpected downtime, event attendees will experience how Mazak’s Spindle Health Monitoring System uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) for 24/7 remote monitoring of spindle performance. Streaming from Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the demonstration of Mazak’s VC-500A/5X AM HWD HYBRID Multi-Tasking Machine will spotlight high-speed Hot Wire Deposition (HWD) programable welding additive technology paired with the Vertical Machining Center’s full 5-axis subtractive machining capability.

“Over one thousand manufacturers registered for our first All Axes LIVE event,” said Dan Janka, president of Mazak, “and we expect the following events in the series to prove just as engaging and valuable for our customers. At Mazak, our number one goal is to keep pace with customer demands for increased sales and service support – as well as with new and innovative technology. With that said we’ll kick off this All Axes LIVE event on our manufacturing plant floor in Kentucky where attendees will experience Mazaks making Mazaks along with some of the latest automation we’ve incorporated into our manufacturing operations that will allow us to quickly and efficiently meet growing customer demand.”

Mazak’s All Axes LIVE event format is one that elevates the customer experience through both live and on-demand cutting demonstrations, technology presentations and opportunities for customers to ask questions and interact with Mazak experts in real time. Attendees can also use the event application to schedule meetings and visits to Mazak’s eight North American Technology Centers.

The next episodes of All Axes LIVE events are scheduled for October and December of 2020, as well as for January 2021. Additional details and registration for upcoming All Axes LIVE events are coming soon.
