KwikHinge Enclosure Door Hinges and Ultimate Series Gland Plates From AutomationDirect

June 18, 2020

Versions of Hubbell-Wiegmann floor mounted, freestanding and disconnect enclosures in carbon steel and stainless steel are now available with KwikHinge door hinges.

KwikHinge hinges enable quick and easy removal of doors. This makes common tasks like subpanel installation or door modifications substantially easier. The hinge pin is made of stainless steel for strength and durability and is held in the hinge with a retainer clip while the door is removed. Starting at $1,886, KwikHinge series enclosures include NEMA 3R, 4, 4X and 12 freestanding single- and double-door disconnect, single- and double-door with 3-point handle and NEMA 3R, 4 and 12 double-door floor-mount.

Also available are Ultimate Series NEMA 3R, 4, 12 and 13 single-door wall mount enclosures (from $209.00) with removable bottom gland plates. Removable gland plates permit easier cutouts and pulling of cable/wires. The gland plate is fully gasketed and can be removed for easy drilling and hole tapping without disturbing the integrity of the enclosure.

AutomationDirect provides over 4,500 Hammond, Hubbell-Wiegmann, AttaBox, and Integra brand enclosures across NEMA 1, 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 4X, 6P, 12, 4/12 and 13 ratings, all at great competitive prices.
