Nexans AC90 ISO BX: Extended Ranges for Canadian Hospitals Now Available
Nexans AC90 ISO-BX is a 600V armoured cable (interlocked aluminum tape) with 2 or 3 XLPE-insulated solid copper conductors (RW90) + a green XLPE-insulated copper ground (RW90) + a bare copper bond. The AC90 is for use in circuits where an isolated ground is required for minimizing the effects of harmonics and providing a low impedance path to ground. It is beneficial for special systems used for critical or sensitive equipment that need to be protected from electrical noise and interference. Reduces the risk of ground loops and common mode voltages, as ground loops which can cause errors, distortion, and damage, and common mode voltages can cause shocks, fires and interference.
The AC90 helps improve performance and reliability of sensitive equipment and circuits; It also increases the accuracy, quality, lifespan, and safety of sensitive equipment and circuits. The AC90 provides a cost-effective alternative to installations in conduit.
Colour Coding
- 2-conductor constructions: 1 black and 1 white circuit copper conductors, 1 green insulated copper grounding conductor, and 1 bare copper bonding conductor
- 3-conductor constructions: 1 red, 1 black and 1 white circuit conductors, 1 green insulated copper grounding conductor and 1 bare copper bonding conductor.
