The Moxa EDS-P506E-4PoE Series are Gigabit managed PoE+ Ethernet switches that come standard with 4 10/100BaseT(X), 802.3af (PoE), and 802.3at (PoE+)-compliant Ethernet ports, and 2 combo Gigabit Ethernet ports.
The use of collaborative robots without traditional protective devices such as fences and light guards requires the highest safety requirements. Which standards, rules and regulations must be complied?
Base unit also for elevators EN 81-20/50 and heaters EN50156-1 single- channel or two-channel control, manual reset with reset switch monitoring, cross circuit monitoring, synchronous time 1.5s, 3 enabling current paths, 1 signalling output, DC 24 V, screw-terminals pluggable.
Standardisation of control gear and switchgear is one of the most effective ways to reduce engineering and configuration costs. This is true for products both large and small – as Rittal demonstrates with its new RiLine Compact busbar system.
Manufacturers Automation Inc announced that Moxa has launched the world’s first rack-mounted Layer 2/Layer 3 managed switches, PT-G7828/G7728, that comply with IEC 61850-3 Edition 2 Class 2 and IEEE 1613 Class 2. The switches’ 28 ports all support full Gigabit hardware time-stamping as defined in IEEE 1588v2. In addition, the switches offer selectable RJ45/SFP/PoE+ interfaces and dual LV/HV power modules to ensure suitability for a variety of applications.
Mississauga, ON, February 2018 – Festo has introduced a translucent version of the company’s PUN-H tubing, which provides a tough, long-lasting solution for standard applications involving compressed air, vacuum and many uses of water.
With their many advantages, digitally controlled, high-precision piezo valves like Festo Canada’s new VEAA and VEAB make a strong case to replace conventional solenoid valves in a wide range of industrial applications involving flow and pressure control. Piezo valves use very little energy, generating virtually no heat, which helps qualify them as intrinsically safe for use in volatile or explosive environments.
HARTING’s new Han-Modular Surge Protection Modules make it possible to move surge protection into its most widely used industrial connector series, a space-saving idea that simplifies wiring arrangements. Proper surge protection for Instrumental and Control (I&C) signals usually requires separate, external solutions that add to material and labour costs.
POSITAL’s heavy-duty IXARC incremental and absolute rotary encoders are built to stand up to extreme environmental conditions. Based on a housing design with a 25-year track record of surviving the toughest conditions, these devices are suitable for marine vessels, off-shore facilities, mines, cranes, wind turbines and other challenging locations.
Pilz expands its remote I/O system PSSuniversal 2 by a head module with EtherNet/IP interface. This means that PSSuniversal 2 offers the necessary openness for smooth communication in various control environments on an Ethernet basis.
The configurable control system PNOZmulti 2 for safety and automation from Pilz, a world leader in Automation Safety, has two new communication modules for connection to Ethernet-based systems. With these, the base unit can now be expanded on the left-hand side and can easily be connected to PROFINET or Ethernet/IP networks.
With its new product range PMI (Pilz Machine Interface) 6 Control, the automation company Pilz is introducing its first operator terminal to be equipped with a soft PLC in accordance with IEC 61131-3 as standard.
Rittal is now expanding its range of cooling units with the addition of a device with an output class of 1.6 kW. Besides being 75 percent more energy-efficient than previous cooling solutions on average, the units also excel in terms of connectivity, safety and handling. The new FTTA approval also makes the UL certification process much easier.
Rotary encoder specialist POSITAL has expanded its interface offerings for its magnetic Kit Encoders, launched with great success last year, with support for the non-proprietary open-source BiSS Line communication protocol.
Machine and equipment builders are already using tight integration between the HMI and controller to help increase productivity in large applications. With the new Allen-Bradley PanelView 5310 family of graphic terminals, they can now bring these integration benefits to smaller applications.
