Industry moves fast. Outpace obsolescence with OMRON’s Sysmac Studio. Designed to empower operations from the edge to the cloud, it unifies automation by prioritizing safety and security. Built for today, ready for the future. Today, the factory floor faces pressure from suppliers, consumers, competition, and emerging technologies. Operation teams are looking to remain competitive while making resilience standard procedure. At the crux of resilience and a sustainable competitive advantage is confident decisions driven by data-based insight. OMRON’s Sysmac Studio does just that, enabling processes to run predictably, effectively, and hit their output targets, especially when that target is moving.
FLIR infrared cameras make it easy to perform non-destructive inspections that isolate cold and warm air infiltration/exfiltration so necessary repairs and improvements can be made to tighten energy efficiency.
IDEAL has released the latest generation of circuit tracers with refinements in performance, ease-of-use and safety with the SureTrace 959 Circuit Tracer Kit. User friendly features include receiver display rotating automatically for easy viewing, quickly identifies breakers and fuses with Certain Circuit detection, and effectively pinpoints open and shorts. IDEAL’s SureTrace 959 is equipped with a brilliant OLED displaying signal strength in 0-99 format and has an audible indication that intensifies in tone/pitch along with signal strength. The circuit tracer kit works on energized or de-energized circuits (0-600V AC/DC) with four sensitivity levels, peak reading bar graph and has a 2-year warranty.
The ergonomic BS-DIN Rail Fixture mounting device from Phoenix Contact enables terminal strips to be produced conveniently and reliably. Screw-in clamping blocks reliably hold the DIN rail in place, leaving both hands free for assembly. The rotation and sliding function enables the fixture to be rotated and adjusted flexibly. The view over the work surface is ideal. This also facilitates the convenient mounting of terminal markers. With the integrated measuring scale, the absolute dimensions and relative distances between components can be measured reliably. Additional sliding blocks enable further clamping blocks to be fitted, enabling several small terminal strips to be produced in parallel.
Siemens has expanded the TIA Selection Tool Cloud with the new “Electrical Designer” feature for electrical planning. This smart software is the first and only in the IEC market (application of International Electrotechnical Commission standards) that includes basic electrical knowledge and standards expertise, eliminating the need for time-consuming research and complex manual work. Electrical Designer simplifies main circuit design by automatically selecting components, verifying short-circuits, sizing cables, and creating all necessary documentation in one easy process.
Eaton’s Power Xpert Branch Circuit Monitor (PXBCM) provides remote access to live energy readings, and facilitates data integration for data center intensive industries, facilities working to optimize server capacity and companies with a critical need to maintain uptime. By combining monitoring capabilities down to the plug level with overload alerts, which indicate when circuits are close to exceeding thresholds, the PXBCM helps minimize or prevent downtime.

Advanced Motion Controls is proud to announce the addition of six new CANopen servo drives with Extended Environment capabilities to their FlexPro line. These new drives join AMC’s existing EtherCAT Extended Environment FlexPro drives, making the FlexPro line the go-to solution for motion control applications in harsh environments.
Many motion control applications take place in conditions that are less than ideal, such as extreme temperatures, high and low pressures, shocks and vibrations, and contamination. Electronics, including servo drives, can malfunction or sustain permanent damage in these conditions.
