JMP Solutions Continues Growth Through Acquisition of Alfacon Solutions

JMP Solutions, industrial technology partner to the Fortune 1000, announced today that they have acquired the assets of Alfacon Solutions, a 35-year-old custom material handling solution provider based in Milton, Ontario. The employees of Alfacon now form JMP’s Material Handling Division and the company is excited about the value this will bring to their customers.

Scott Shawyer, JMP President & CEO, stated, “We are very happy the Alfacon team has decided to join us at JMP. Their capabilities are world class and allow us to provide our customers with very high quality, made-in-North-America advanced material handling solutions. Their customers will now be able to draw on the full-service offering of JMP. Additionally, they are a great complement to our Robotic, AGV, Control Systems, & MES divisions, giving us even more application bench strength and the ability to vertically integrate our offerings. Therefore, our projects have better quality; we deploy faster while reducing costs and risks for our customers.”

JMP Solutions will be augmenting the team from Alfacon with their proven project execution framework, project management resources, and control system design and implementation expertise.
