CUTFOX 10 Automatic Cutting Device: Redesigned for Significantly Improved Performance

Phoenix Contact has redesigned the CUTFOX 10 automatic cutting device and significantly improved its performance. Due to a product improvement, the device can now cut flexible conductors with cross-sections up to 16 mm² (6 AWG) with precision. The maximum cutting capacity was previously 10 mm² (8 AWG).

The wire outlet and the wire guide in front of the cutting blade were redesigned to increase the performance capacity. All other functions, features, and operating procedures of the device remain unchanged, so users can continue to rely on the same high level of process reliability and cutting quality they are accustomed to. The CUTFOX 10 from Phoenix Contact is a compact, intuitive automatic cutting device for cables, litz wires, and shrink sleeves.

The automatic diameter adjustment of the drive and guide rollers simplifies handling, while settings can be entered particularly quickly via the user-friendly display. In addition, the Cutsoft software enables electronic wiring lists, including length specifications and other information, to be transferred directly to the device.

Another feature makes operation and processing even more convenient and process-reliable: The automatic cutting device can be controlled directly using the clipx WIRE assist worker assistance software. This means that production data can be used consistently and time savings made.
