Mouser: Honeywell Hydrogen Leak Detection Sensor

Honeywell Hydrogen Leak Detection (HLD) Sensor utilizes the Honeywell advanced compensation algorithm to detect hydrogen leaks in different applications. This sensor features precision, reliability, and Thermal Conductivity Detection (TCD) technology, delivering lasting performance for applications that need a highly accurate solution without manual intervention for 10 years. Advanced detection capabilities ensure the identification of hydrogen leakage of ≥50ppm, enabling this sensor to be used in many industries, such as automotive, residential power generators, and industrial safety equipment. When compared to catalytic beads, this sensor offers greater accuracy, extended sensor lifespan, and enhanced resistance to chemical poisoning. Honeywell HLD Sensor is typically adjacent to hydrogen storage tanks, hydrogen gas piping, fuel cells, and vehicle cabins.

  • Hammond: Datawind Filterfans – DPF Series

Hammond Introduces New Datawind Filter Fans – DPF Series. Features: Maintains a UL Tested NEMA Type 12 seal against enclosure. Externally mounted for space restricted installations such as control panels and IT equipment racks. 30-degree slope top housing to avoid dust collection. IEC power connector 6-foot-long cable – NEMA 5-15P (115V) and IEC C14 (230V). Thermostat with 13-foot-long cable allows for placement near heat sensitive locations. Maintenance LED indication light shows filter status. Plastic components made from strong, heat resistant (ABS-FR), UL94-V0 fire approved material. Fluted filter-mat provides longer service life, holding more dust before impeding airflow extending the mean time between maintenance; especially critical for those located in less accessible areas. Metal housing offered in White (RAL 9003) and Black (RAL 9004) with complementary plastic fan grill. NOTE – Datawind fan packages pressurize cabinets (push air in), so an exhaust location is needed as a path for heat to escape the cabinet. See table below for exhaust filter options.

Electromate: Spring Applied & Power-Off Permanent Magnet Brakes – Engineering Failsafe Motion Control

Most electromagnetic brakes work on a simple logic: apply current, apply braking. Remove current, release braking. For many industrial applications, conveyors, packaging lines, printing machines, this is exactly the right behavior. The brake engages on demand and releases when not needed. But for a significant class of machines, this logic is exactly backwards. Robots, vertical… Read More…
