Phoenix Contact: Connecting Is a Snap

Phoenix Contact brings a new dimension of convenience to conductor connections with the lever-actuated PCB terminal blocks and PCB connectors of the consistent LPT and LPC series. They combine the reliability of Push-in spring connection with extremely user-friendly lever actuation.

With its extended range, Phoenix Contact serves all performance classes up to more than 50 kW connected load. The position of the color-coded and intuitive lever signalizes visually and tangibly the defined status of the clamping space from the outside. Incorrectly closed clamping spaces, and therefore also faulty connections, are immediately apparent to you. It also means that the contact force is preprogrammed by the spring, so it always remains the same. By switching the lever, you are assured that the inserted conductor is contacted reliably and will remain stable in the long term. The straight and angled PCB terminal blocks of the LPT/LPTA series are available in versions for cross-sections of 2.5 mm², 6 mm², and 16 mm². The LPC/LPC(H) PCB terminal block portfolio includes product lines for conductor cross-sections of 1.5 mm², 2.5 mm², 6 mm², and 16 mm². Connect conductors with and without ferrules – conveniently and without tools.

When the switch detects an overload or short circuit, the fuse blows automatically to open or break the circuit both upstream and downstream and shuts off the equipment.

    LOVATO: VLG30150A480 – Variable Speed Drive, VLG3 Series

    LOVATO Electric expands its range of variable speed drives with the new VLG3 series, including the VLG30150A480 with three-phase power supply 380, 480VAC 50/60Hz. The range includes sizes from 0.4 to 22kW and integrates an EMC filter and a braking chopper as standard. The compact enclosure allows side-by-side installation, with the possibility of mounting on a DIN rail or with screws. On the front of the drive, there is a keypad with a 7-segment LED display for configuration, a potentiometer for frequency adjustment, and an RJ45 connector for connecting peripheral devices such as the optional remote keypad or the cable for PC connection for programming via VLGXSW software. The hardware equipment is completed by the built-in RS485 serial port with Modbus-RTU protocol, for interfacing in a control and supervision network or communication with masters such as PLC or HMI. Alternatively, the drive can be equipped with an Ethernet communication port via an optional Modbus-TCP module that installs on the front. The range is cULus certified, an essential requirement for sale in the North American market.
