E5AR Series Temperature Controller: Fast, Accurate & Customizable to Applications Specific Needs

The E5-R Series provides you with high-accuracy inputs (0.01°C for Pt100) and a 50ms sample and control cycle for all four loops. Its unique Disturbance Overshoot Reduction Adjustment ensures solid, robust control. The R-series can host multiple loops in one unit, The E5ER 2-loops and E5AR 4-loops maximum.

  • Easy and clear read-out thanks to bright liquid Crystal Display
  • Exceptional versatility – multi-loop control, cascade control, and valve control
  • Easy integration with DeviceNet, Profibus or Modbus
  • SV programmer optional, 32 programs with up to 256 segments
  • A short sampling period of 50 ms enables use in applications requiring high-speed response
  • PV, SP, and MV data is displayed simultaneously in a 3-row, negative LCD display with a backlight
  • Multiloop control, cascade control, and proportional control are possible with a single Controller
  • Equipped with calculation functions as a standard (e.g., square root calculation and broken-line approximation)
  • Data setting and monitoring can be performed without special programming
  • When using models with CompoWay/F communications, initial settings can be downloaded, and settings can be masked using Support Software (CX-Thermo version 4.0 or higher)

Applications

Mixing Two Flows: Ratio Control
