IDEAL: SureTrace 959 Circuit Tracer Kit
IDEAL has released the latest generation of circuit tracers with refinements in performance, ease-of-use and safety with the SureTrace 959 Circuit Tracer Kit. IDEAL: Infrared Thermometer Dual Laser (IRT)
The IDEAL Dual Laser Targeting Infrared Thermometer (IRT) is your go-tool for precise, non-contact temperature measurements. With a 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio, its dual laser targeting system uses two red lasers located above and below the IR sensor to outline the area being measured, ensuring pinpoint accuracy. The adjustable emissivity feature further enhances measurement precision, adapting to different surfaces for the most accurate readings. This versatile IRT displays the actual temperature along with four selectable additional measurements (MIN, MAX, AVG, DIF), and features user-programmable HI and LO alarms. It measures temperatures ranging from -26° to 932°F (-32° to 500°C), making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The backlit LCD display ensures visibility in poor or zero lighting conditions, and the laser targeting system can be toggled on or off as needed. Built for durability, the IRT includes an industrial-grade over-molding and a lanyard tie-off point for enhanced grip and drop protection. Additional features include HOLD, MIN/MAX/AVG/DIF readings, high/low visual and audible alarms, lock measurement for continuous monitoring (with the option to mount on a standard camera tripod), and selectable auto power-off functions. The Unifox-MP multifunctional pliers with ergonomic two-component handle combine six or seven functions in a single tool. They make it possible to not only grip, bend, and cut wires, but also to strip cables and crimp ferrules. Their angled tip can be used to easily pierce and deburr flush-mounted sockets. While the Unifox MP 6-1 can be used to cut cables without crushing, the Unifox-MP 7-1 has a diagonal cutter. This means that fine, medium-hard, and piano wires can be effortlessly cut to length. In addition, the pliers provide a crimping area for insulated ring cable lugs. The Unifox-Wrench pliers wrench combines the functions of pliers and a wrench. Ideal for gripping, holding, bending, and turning nuts and bolts, it offers continuous adjustment via push button and an integrated scale for quick and easy setting of the wrench size. The smooth gripping jaws, which can be moved in parallel, protect sensitive surfaces against damage. Thanks to the leverage ratio of greater than 10:1, the pliers wrench ensures a high clamping force and therefore a secure hold. The Unifox-LM “Linemans” combination pliers are ideal for gripping, bending, and twisting wires as well as for pin crimping uninsulated cable lugs. The ergonomic two-component handle ensures comfort, while the toothed gripping surfaces and the additional gripping area below the joint provide optimum grip. With the extra-long blades with a cutting hardness of 62-64 HRC, the Unifox LM offers optimum cutting performance and durability.

JMP Parent Company, CONVERGIX Acquires AGR Automation, Expanding Global Reach
Convergix Automation Solutions has completed the acquisition of AGR Automation (“AGR”), a UK-based provider of custom, high-performance automation design and systems integration primarily to the life sciences industry.
Following Convergix’s acquisitions of JMP Solutions in August 2021 and Classic Design in February 2022, AGR marks the third investment in Crestview’s strategy to build Convergix into a diversified automation solutions provider targeting the global $500+ billion market, with a particular focus on the $70 billion global systems integration and connectivity segments. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
