Franklin Empire Inc. Announces Strategic Acquisition of O’Neil Electric Supply

Franklin Empire Inc., a major independent electrical distributor in Eastern Canada, is proud and excited to announce that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire O’Neil Electric Supply, an Ontario-based electrical distributor, subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of required regulatory approvals. This strategic acquisition further strengthens Franklin Empire’s position within the electrical industry and supports its long-term growth strategy.

Both Franklin Empire and O’Neil Electric are family/privately-owned businesses and member-owners of Affiliated Distributors (AD), sharing closely aligned cultures, values and business philosophies. Built on a foundation of entrepreneurship, customer focus, and long-standing relationships, the two companies also share a common vision for the future.

This acquisition is driven by a commitment to long-term continuity and succession. The combined business will be focused on stability and growth. Franklin Empire remains firmly committed to its people and to preserving the strong teams and local expertise that have contributed to the success of both organizations.
