AutomationDirect has added the BLOCK PM series mini power supplies which feature a compact form factor, excellent transient voltage protection, and an affordable price. They are robust and adaptable for a range of applications, offering performance and reliability without the higher cost of full-featured power supplies. The new BLOCK PM-0624-100-0 redundancy module prevents costly downtime by monitoring two matched BLOCK power supplies and switching to a backup when a failure occurs. The module also decouples the power supply outputs to prevent one supply from overloading the other.
E-Switch TL1030 Tactile Switches feature a compact, surface-mount 3.5mm x 2.9mm size with multiple actuation force options, including 160gf, 200gf, 350gf, and 500gf. The TL1030 series offers models with and without a ground terminal. The switches operate a 50mA electrical rating at 12VDC and a single-pole, single-throw (SPST) off/on functionality. The switches provide a 100mΩ max initial contact resistance, a 100MΩ min insulation resistance at 500VDC, and up to 200,000-cycle life expectancy.
Bourns 1280 Series IEC AC Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) are designed for power systems, lighting, and current and surge protection. These SPDs feature high reliability and are protected by MOV with advanced thermal disconnector technology. AutomationDirect has released three new LS Electric XGB PLC models that provide advanced control at an even lower cost. Two 16-point 2-axis motion PLC units and a 14-point relay output model are now available. The 2-axis PLC versions support pulse/direction control from the embedded I/O, featuring 4 high-speed inputs and 2 high-speed outputs, as well as EtherCAT motion using EtherCAT expansion modules. The new relay output PLC provides 8 inputs, 4 offering high-speed capability, and 6 relay outputs supporting up to 2A per point. This PLC version can also support EtherCAT motion using the optional EtherCAT expansion modules.
The new surge protective devices in the VALVETRAB SPP product family from Phoenix Contact offer forward-thinking installation and safety features. They are therefore also suitable for PV applications. The new disconnection feature responds even more quickly in the event of an overload, which provides additional safety. The main and auxiliary circuits are now fitted with double insulation. The air clearances and creepage distances are achieved by extended screw shafts and insertion funnels on the product.

In this update of the EPLAN Data Portal, there are now a total of 496 manufacturers and more than 1,800,000 data sets that are available with the update on July 25, 2024. New manufacturer catalogs are available from iba AG with 5 new data sets for PLCs, JingQi (Tianjin) technology Co., Ltd. with 210 new data sets for PLCs, sensors, switches and pushbuttons, and Kriwan Industrie-Elektronik GmbH with 13 new data sets for general, measuring instruments and test devices.
