Security routers provide protection against URGENT/11 vulnerabilities
In July 2019, it was announced that eleven zero-day vulnerabilities were discovered that affect the real-time operating system Wind River VxWorks. It is often not easy or even impossible to update all devices that run VxWorks. This is why Phoenix Contact offers a simple and easy to retrofit solution with the mGuard security routers: the security appliances are easily integrated into the network and protect the VxWorks devices completely from attacks through all critical URGENT/11 vulnerabilities.
Polycase: New Sizes for EK Series
Polycase has recently expanded the EK Series of DIN rail mount boxes to include 2 new sizes: the EK-52 and EK-54. The Polycase EK series offers a versatile clip that snaps onto a standard DIN-35 rail, allowing you to easily mount internal components. Both new sizes are larger compared to the current EK-50 and provide an alternative PCB mounting option that allows the user to capture their PCB on the screw tower rib (versus the molded-in mounting bosses) – helping save assembly time by not having to screw down the PCB.

JMP Parent Company, CONVERGIX Acquires AGR Automation, Expanding Global Reach
Convergix Automation Solutions has completed the acquisition of AGR Automation (“AGR”), a UK-based provider of custom, high-performance automation design and systems integration primarily to the life sciences industry.
Following Convergix’s acquisitions of JMP Solutions in August 2021 and Classic Design in February 2022, AGR marks the third investment in Crestview’s strategy to build Convergix into a diversified automation solutions provider targeting the global $500+ billion market, with a particular focus on the $70 billion global systems integration and connectivity segments. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
