PXU PID Controllers Feature Modern Surface-Mount Technology, Extensive Testing & High Immunity to Noise Interference, Making Them Extremely Reliable in Industrial Environments

Red Lion PXU PID Controllers accept signals from a variety of temperature sensors, including thermocouples or RTD. These controllers can also be configured for process inputs, including 0VDC to 5/10VDC, 0/4mA DC to 20mA DC, or 0mV DC to 50mV DC. The PXU PID controllers can provide an accurate output control signal (time proportional or DC analog output) to maintain a process at a determined setpoint value.

These controllers offer dual 4-digit display readings, allowing simultaneous viewing of the temperature/process and setpoint values. The PXU PID controllers provide front panel indicators to inform the operator of alarm and control output status. These controllers allow the user to select between PID, on/off, and manual control mode. The PXU controllers can provide two control outputs, which can be individually configured for reverse or direct (heating or cooling) applications.

The PXU controllers offer comprehensive programming and PID tuning constants that can be set via on-demand auto-tune. These PID constants can also be programmed or fine-tuned via the front panel or a PC, and then locked out from further modification. The PXU controllers are constructed of a lightweight, high-impact, black plastic textured case with a clear display window. These controllers feature modern surface-mount technology, extensive testing, and high immunity to noise interference, making them extremely reliable in industrial environments. Typical applications include factory automation, alternative energy, oil and gas, power and utilities, transportation, water, and wastewater.

ADVANCED Motion Controls Takes Servo Drives to New Heights (and Depths) with FlexPro Extended Environment Product Line

Advanced Motion Controls is proud to announce the addition of six new CANopen servo drives with Extended Environment capabilities to their FlexPro line. These new drives join AMC’s existing EtherCAT Extended Environment FlexPro drives, making the FlexPro line the go-to solution for motion control applications in harsh environments.

Many motion control applications take place in conditions that are less than ideal, such as extreme temperatures, high and low pressures, shocks and vibrations, and contamination. Electronics, including servo drives, can malfunction or sustain permanent damage in these conditions.
