The prevailing trend in Industrial Automation and Control System (IACS) networking is the convergence of technology, specifically IACS operational technology (OT) with information technology (IT). Converged Plantwide Ethernet (CPwE) helps to enable IACS network technology convergence through the use of standard Ethernet, Internet Protocol (IP), network services, security services and EtherNet/IP. A converged IACS network technology helps to enable the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
At Proax, they understand that unexpected downtime can devastate your production schedule and bottom line. As a reliable distributor of SMC pneumatic solutions, they have seen firsthand how one often-overlooked culprit—water in compressed air systems—can silently undermine your operation’s efficiency. While many manufacturers focus on removing oil and particulate contaminants through standard filtration, water vapor presents a more insidious challenge. A standard 100 hp compressor operating in typical conditions (86°F, 80% relative humidity, 100 psi) can produce a staggering 30 gallons of condensate during a single eight-hour shift.
In today’s industrial manufacturing space, it’s never one thing. Processes are connected, workflows are unified, and decisions in one arena have ripple effects that can impact an entire industrial ecosystem.
The Smart Grid Atlantic initiative will determine how energy technologies of the future can provide customer, community, and provincial benefits such as cleaner local power, more renewable energy, new energy solutions and more reliable electricity.
Variations in the printing or marking method of barcodes and direct part marks (DPMs) – including poor ink distribution, incorrect thermal printer heat settings, or uneven pressure in surface abrasion – can hamper readability. Since no-reads can make production inefficient, it’s important to understand the types of print/mark inconsistencies and their causes.

Advanced Motion Controls is proud to announce the addition of six new CANopen servo drives with Extended Environment capabilities to their FlexPro line. These new drives join AMC’s existing EtherCAT Extended Environment FlexPro drives, making the FlexPro line the go-to solution for motion control applications in harsh environments.
Many motion control applications take place in conditions that are less than ideal, such as extreme temperatures, high and low pressures, shocks and vibrations, and contamination. Electronics, including servo drives, can malfunction or sustain permanent damage in these conditions.

Reliability, power quality, and retrofit reality rarely coexist. Most HVAC plants are forced to compromise — unless they change the approach. Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) don’t just save energy — they define uptime, maintenance, and plant stability. SmartD removes the tradeoff instead of managing its consequences. No academic deep dive. Just the physics that matter. Read More…

As artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) continue to push the limits of processing power, traditional approaches to data center cooling must evolve. Data centers must innovate to manage the substantial heat generated by increasingly powerful GPUs and CPUs. One of the most effective emerging solutions is direct-to-chip liquid cooling, which supports AI workloads… Read More…
