Littelfuse Launches CPC1343G OptoMOS Solid-State Relay for High-Current, High-Isolation Applications

Littelfuse has announced the launch of the CPC1343G OptoMOS Solid-State Relay, a compact, normally open (1-Form-A) OptoMOS relay designed for high-reliability switching in demanding industrial, medical, and instrumentation applications. Built on Littelfuse OptoMOS technology, the CPC1343G combines 900 mA continuous load current, 60 V blocking voltage, and reinforced 5000 VRMS input-to-output isolation designed to meet stringent safety and compliance requirements in a space-saving 4-pin package. Fast switching performance—4 ms turn-on and 1 ms turn-off—enables precise control in modern electronic systems, while a low 3 mA maximum LED drive current ensures compatibility with TTL and CMOS logic without added interface circuitry.

SICK: New MF Fork Sensors

MF fork sensors are micro through-beam photoelectric sensors that combine a sender and receiver in a single housing. The sensors are characterized by their particularly small enclosure size and a wide range of mounting options. Thanks to their compact design, the micro fork sensors take up very little space and make integration even easier thanks to the different mounting brackets of the individual variants. As the sensors do not require teach-in or adjustment parameters, no commissioning is necessary. Thanks to this design, the fork sensor prevents operating errors during the process. The sensors detect opaque materials, which is why they are often used for plastic transport system elements.

Industrial systems create large volumes of data as they implement predictive maintenance and automation. Global data generation reached 181 zettabytes (ZB) in 2025, with estimates predicting 221ZB in 2026. Moving all that data to the cloud can overwhelm networks and slow response times. The latency of round-trip data to the cloud can range from tens to hundreds of milliseconds in traditional enterprise networks, depending on network path and distance. That speed is too slow for the real-time control and safety functions of industrial systems. Processing every event in the cloud also increases communication costs and introduces the risk of system outages when connectivity is poor.
