VTUX: New Generation of Valve Manifold for Maximum Flexibility in Machine Design

From the tried-and-tested multi-pin or I/O-Link interface to the fieldbus connection, it offers maximum communication performance.

The VTUX offers a wide range of integrated functions that significantly increase efficiency and user-friendliness. One feature is the valves with digital inputs, which enable simple assignment. Whether via M8 connections or PNP/NPN signals – integration is uncomplicated and flexible. The valve manifolds also feature innovative vacuum solutions with an air-saving function that not only conserves resources but also optimizes operating costs. The internal serial communication enables easy access to parameters and diagnostics, which considerably simplifies system maintenance and monitoring. These functions make VTUX a powerful solution for modern automation requirements.

With the new generation VTUX, the position of the valve manifolds in the machine can be defined completely freely, as can their size and placement. The highly modular approach can be easily adapted and scaled to your preferred installation concepts.

New in 2026

From 2026 onward, the VTUX portfolio will be supplemented by a further size in addition to the existing 10 mm valve size: 15 mm valves.

The new 15 mm valves are characterized by maximum performance:

  • High flow rates of up to 1650 l/min according to ISO 8778
  • Lightweight and compact with a width of 15 mm
  • Interlinking plates with working connections for hose with an outer diameter of 12 mm

The next size fits in seamlessly and shares the same strengths as the smaller size:

  • Extremely flexible to use and highly modular, for all tasks, communication and machine concepts
  • Integrated, space-saving switching position feedback directly assigned to the pneumatic components
  • Open for future developments

Features

  • Flexible for centralized and decentralized installation
  • Versatile options for creating pressure zones
  • High flow rates of up to 730 l/min
  • Lightweight yet robust, made of high-performance polymer
  • Extremely flexible to use and highly modular for all tasks, communication and machine concepts
  • Vacuum integration with solutions for large bandwidths
  • Integrated, space-saving switching position feedback directly assigned to the pneumatic components
  • Open for future developments
  • All in all, it combines all the benefits of CPV, MPA and VTUG in one platform

Festo’s specialist consultants will be happy to introduce you to the new valve manifold VTUX, and to inform you about the new application possibilities and development prospects.

ADVANCED Motion Controls Takes Servo Drives to New Heights (and Depths) with FlexPro Extended Environment Product Line

Advanced Motion Controls is proud to announce the addition of six new CANopen servo drives with Extended Environment capabilities to their FlexPro line. These new drives join AMC’s existing EtherCAT Extended Environment FlexPro drives, making the FlexPro line the go-to solution for motion control applications in harsh environments.

Many motion control applications take place in conditions that are less than ideal, such as extreme temperatures, high and low pressures, shocks and vibrations, and contamination. Electronics, including servo drives, can malfunction or sustain permanent damage in these conditions.
